Super Sunday basics:

  • Each game is timed: 35 min halves, 10 min halftime.
    • Game 1 starts at 1:00 and ends at 2:20
    • Game 2 starts at 2:40 and ends at 4:00
    • There may or may not be a horn to signal start/stop, so teams should keep their own time
    • Halftime: Finish the point in play before beginning halftime. Take the full 10 min half regardless of when halftime actually starts.
    • Full game: If the game is not tied when time expires, game is over. If game is tied, finish the current point.
  • Flip the disc to determine pulling/receiving and starting endzone.
    • Mirror image at half.
  • One 2 min timeout per team, per half (does not stop the clock)
  • Everyone should bring a white shirt (not grey) and a colored shirt (not yellow). Flip the disc for color.
  • Each team must have an adult coach or CDA volunteer present. Teams need to alert CDA (me) if they need a volunteer adult
  • Report scores to Dave Arters
  • Everyone plays two games.
    • Because most of our teams are student-run, unofficial clubs without a lot of structure, we have to remain flexible on the schedule. Be prepared for changes on the day.
    • Teams may be asked to pick up free agents and/or combine with teams that are short in order to balance the schedule.
    • Teams may play an instructional game against mixed (male/female) club Ultimate volunteers to balance the schedule. Use this as a learning opportunity as well as a competitive challenge.

Regular season League standings will be calculated as follows:

Teams receive one point per game played plus one point per win

Tie breaker is head-to-head record
