Fighting Gobies & Lady Gobies

We are the Fighting Gobies of Case Western Reserve. Last year, our men's A team qualified for Nationals for the first time in our programs 20+ year history. Due to our contributions to the community off the field, as well as our work on the field, our men's and women's programs were ranked top 5 and top 10 in the country respectively by USAU's ACE program.

John Carroll University (O):

Thor Ultimate (John Carroll University)

John Carroll University's Ultimate Program, named Thor, is an open team currently accepting both male and female participants.  They compete across the state of Ohio, attending local tournaments such as North Coast, Oberlin, and Halloween Hat as well as tournaments as close as Columbus, OH, and as far away as Martinsville, Virginia.

The team enters its 13th year of play with a reputation for two things: hard, gritty play and low tournament roster sizes.  For the 2019 Spring season Thor looks to keep the grit but increase their numbers, doubling their roster size from the previous year.  Additionally, they have made many administrative and on the field steps toward becoming more competitive.  This includes instituting many new offensive and defensive schemes, expanding their tournament and practice schedule, and practicing new concepts and drills.

Thor will come to the field in March with the hopes of securing themselves a spot in the Ohio Valley D-III Regionals tournament.
